Leonhardimarkt

On the annual St. Leonhard’s Day, there is the tradition of carrying out the Freiung.
Starting at 10.00 am, there is a short introduction to the theme in Murau town hall followed by a procession to the main square. There, at around 10.30 a.m., the liberation with the reading of the market proclamation will take place.
This is followed by the traditional Leonhardi market with many vendors from the region!
